For Karen

Your quick site guide.

Connect order emails, replace placeholders, and keep the menu current without rebuilding the design.

Required before accepting orders

Connect Formspree.

  1. Create a Formspree account with the email where Karen wants to receive order requests, and verify that email.
  2. In Formspree, select New Form, name it “PüR Pastries Orders,” and choose Karen’s email as the notification destination.
  3. Open the form’s Integration tab and copy the endpoint. It will look like https://formspree.io/f/abcxyz.
  4. Open dist/order.html. Find https://formspree.io/f/YOUR_FORM_ID and replace it with the copied endpoint.
  5. File uploads require a Formspree plan that includes uploads. Keep submission storage enabled. The form is already set to multipart upload and accepts multiple images or PDFs.
  6. In Formspree’s email notification template, include the uploaded-file field named uploads. Formspree stores uploads as file URLs; use its list iteration for uploads if you customize the email.
  7. Publish the update, submit one real test request, and verify that Karen receives all fields plus links to the uploaded files.

Routine updates

Gallery, options, and brand assets.

Replace gallery photos

Add optimized JPG or WebP files to dist/assets/. In gallery.html, replace each placeholder <div class="cake-image"> with an image using the same card structure. Keep images square-ish and under about 500 KB for speed.

Edit flavors and fillings

Open dist/order.html. The cake and cupcake flavors are plain <option> lists. Icing, color, and filling suggestions are in <datalist> blocks. Add, remove, or rename lines as needed.

Add the real logo

Place the logo in dist/assets/. Replace each “PP” logo mark in the page headers and footers with an <img>. The site colors live at the top of assets/styles.css.

Before going public: replace the contact placeholder in dist/info.html, connect and test Formspree, and review the order flow from start to finish.

Publishing updates

Save the edited files, ask Codex to publish the PüR Pastries Site again, and the new private version will be built and deployed. When the site is ready for customers, change its access from private to the audience you want.
